Jonathan Levine will direct Hulu series Nine Perfect Strangers

Hulu has also announced that the cast will receive an additional member.

Nine Perfect Strangers will premiere somewhere in 2021 and is based on the book of Liane Moriarty that released in 2018. Moriarty is also responsible for the book upon which the hit series Big Little Lies is based. On the 28th of May, MySeries reported the cast of the series. Now, a new cast member and the director have been revealed.



Jonathan Levine (Rush, photo) will direct the long-expected series and will also serve as an executive producer. Next to the cast members that were already on the list, Michael Shannon (The Little Drummer Girl (2018)) will also join the cast. He will portray one of the nine strangers who visit the wellness resort of the series. According to Deadline, he will portray Napoleon. A premiere date has not yet been announced.
