No Mundo da Luna is a Portuguese dramedy series which aired on HBO Max. The series premiered on November 13, 2022.
In No Mundo da Luna, based on the book of the same name by Carina Rissi, we follow the story of Luna (Marina Moschen), a recently graduated journalist who is looking for work in her field. Luna is of gypsy origin and, to approach the profession, eventually accepts to write about horoscopes for a news portal featuring maps of the gypsy deck she inherited from her family. To Luna's surprise, the ancient deck begins to communicate directly with her. On her new journey, Luna will have to face the challenges of her first job and keep alive her dream of becoming a journalist. Besides talking letters, Luna falls in love with two guys at work, one very different from the other. To overcome the crises of her twenties, Luna enlists the help of her two best friends, who also have their own problems. Sabrina is an artist struggling to make a living from art in the NFT era, and Bia is a professional gamer working on an all-male team.
