Leighton Meester and Miles Fowler cast in Nobody Wants This season two

Meester joins her husband, Adam Brody, in Netflix's romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This. Both Meester and Fowler will be guest stars in season two. Meester plays Abby, Joanne's former high school nemesis (Kristen Bell) who is now an influencer on Instagram. Meester and Bell also both had major roles on The CW's Gossip Girl - although Bell, as the series' narrator, did not appear on-screen (other than a cameo as herself in the series finale).



Fowler (pictured right) plays Lenny, one of Noah's (Brody) Matzah Ballers teammates who is dating Joanne's sister Morgan (Justine Lupe).

Netflix quickly renewed Nobody Wants This for a second season just weeks after its September debut. Season two will have new showrunners: Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan (Girls) take over from Jack Burditt. Series creator Erin Foster will remain a writer and executive producer of the series.

Meester (photo left) is currently starring in Good Cop/Bad Cop, a co-production between Australian streamer Stan and American Roku. The series can be seen on The CW. Meester will appear in season two of The Buccaneers on Apple TV+.

Fowler recently appeared in A Man on the Inside on Netflix. He also appeared in Fox's The Resident and HBO's Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty.
