NOS4A2 cancelled after two seasons

AMC has decided to cancel the American horror series NOS4A2 after two seasons. There will be no third season.

NOS4A2 premiered in June 2019. By now, the series had two seasons. Compared to the first season, the series lost approximately 52% of its viewers. AMC has decided not to have a third season, the network has cancelled the horror series. The final episode aired on the 23rd of August this year.

Creator and showrunner from NOS4A2 Jami O'Brien (Fear The Walking Dead) announced the news on Twitter. Next to that, his tweet also thanked the other cast members, fans and Joe Hill, the author of the book with the same name upon which the series is based. In NOS4A2, the young Victoria 'Vic' McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings, Westside) discovers that she can unlock portals. When Vic meets Charlie Manx, they become sworn enemies. The second season takes place eight years after the ending of the first season.
