The series Oh, Otto! has been sold to international networks.

The Flemish Streamz Original series Oh, Otto! continues to gain international ground.
After an award-winning stint in Cannes and a premiere at the Seriesly Festival in Berlin, it has been confirmed that the series Oh, Otto! will soon be available outside Flanders.

In French-speaking Belgium, the episodes will be dubbed and broadcast on RTBF Auvio in 2025, while in France, the pay channel Canal+ has acquired the rights. The series has also been purchased in North America and India, two of the largest television markets in the world. Additionally, Oh, Otto! will be presented on the big screen in its home country during the Pink Screens Festival in Brussels, which takes place from Friday, November 7 to Sunday, November 16.

During the Seriesly Festival in Berlin, the cast was present, including director Stijn Van Kerkhoven, screenwriter Ditte Jacoby, and lead actors Jonathan Michiels and Jennifer Heylen. The series was praised as an “intimate, delicate, and gripping” production and closed the festival. Van Kerkhoven also participated in a panel discussion on queerness in mainstream television.

According to producer Peter Bouckaert (Eyeworks), Oh, Otto! is a series “straight from the heart,” which, thanks to its themes of friendship, love, and searching for one's place in the world, appeals to a broad audience, even beyond the LGBTQ+ community.

The story revolves around Otto, a young man in his twenties who suddenly finds himself alone when his first boyfriend dumps him and his best friend Lente announces she is leaving Brussels. Left with doubts and questions, Otto immerses himself in the vibrant queer life of Brussels. With his online alter ego as a compass, he dives into a world of nocturnal escapades, gay bars, and self-discovery.
