Created by Tim Walsh and Elliot Wolf, On Call is an adrenaline-fueled police drama that follows a rookie and a veteran as they patrol Long Beach, California. The innovative series uses a mix of bodycam, dashcam and mobile phone footage to create a cinema verité effect and explores the morality of protecting and serving a community.
Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars) stars as hard-working but protective former officer Traci Harmon, who struggles to find her place within the department while training the next generation of officers. Larracuente (The Good Doctor) portrays Alex Diaz, an ambitious rookie who struggles to maintain his optimistic outlook while realizing the challenges he faces in the current climate.
La Salle ( ER), who is also an executive producer on the series and directed several episodes, plays Sergeant Lasman, Loughlin (Fuller House) is Lieutenant Bishop and Ting (Tulsa King) portrays Sergeant Koyama.
Dick Wolf, Tim Walsh, Elliot Wolf, La Salle and Peter Jankowski serve as executive producers. The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studios Group, and Amazon MGM Studios in association with Wolf Entertainment.
All eight episodes will premiere on Thursday, January 9, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
