Second season for Only Murders in the Building

You may want to stay out of the Arconia building. Hulu has renewed Only Murders in the Building with its second season. The streamer has revealed that the murder-mystery-comedy series has become the most-watched original series during its premiere date. It has also become the most-watched Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD)-comedy.

The series was created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman. The lead characters are portrayed by Martin, Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Aaron Dominquez and Amy Ryan. The story follows three strangers who share an obsession with true crime when they suddenly become entangled in one inside the Arconia building in New York City. A former actor, Charles-Haden Savage (Martin), became famous due to his portrayal of a detective in a police series. Oliver Putnam (Short) is a struggling Broadway director. Mabel Mora (Gomez) is a young mysterious woman who claims she's renovating an apartment for her aunt. When a gruesome death occurs in Arconia - their exclusive apartment building in the Upper West Side - the trio suspects murder and they decide to use their true-crime knowledge to figure everything out.

Currently, episodes of the first season air on Tuesday. The finale will release on the 19th of October. It is not yet known when the second season enters production or when its set to premiere.
