Ordinary Joe has been given a series order by NBC. The series comes from Russel Friend (House M.D.) and Garrett Lerner (House M.D.).
Ordinary Joe is the last 2020 NBC pilot that was still awaiting the final word. NBC has now decided to turn the pilot into an entire series. James Wolk (Watchmen (2019)) will portray the lead character in the drama series.
Russel Friend (House M.D.) and Garrett Lerner (House M.D.) have written Ordinary Joe. The series shows what life would be like if you make decisions based on love, loyalty or passion. The series displays this by showing three parallel lives of the lead character after making a crucial decision in his life. More than ten years ago, Matt Reeves (Away) wrote the pilot script based on that idea. He will also be involved in the production of this series.
