The first season of Outer Banks premiered on Netflix last April. The streaming service has already renewed the drama series with a second season. As of right now, it is not yet known when the new season is set to release.
The series revolves around teenager John B (Chase Stokes, Daytime Divas), who tries to find a legendary treasure with the help of his three best friends. Because of the treasure, he'll get more answers regarding his father's disappearance. The series takes place in Outer Banks, Northern California, a place where there is a large divide between poor and rich.
