Drama series Paradise renewed for a second season by Hulu

The mystery surrounding the president's death and the construction of a strange underground city is extended for another year. The Hulu Original drama series comes from 20th Television and stars This Is Us' Sterling K. Brown as secret agent Xavier Collins. Dan Fogelman's drama is set in a "serene community inhabited by some of the world's most prominent figures. But this tranquility explodes when a shocking murder is committed and a high-stakes investigation unfolds."



Paradise opened with 7 million views in its first week on Hulu in the US and Disney+ internationally. The streamer reports that preliminary data from Nielsen predicts the series to enter the Streaming Top 10 Originals list for the week of January 27 - February 2.

The series also stars James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Aliyah Mastin and Percy Daggs IV.

Following the season finale on Hulu on March 4, Paradise will air a full first season on ABC starting Monday, April 7 at 10 p.m.

Paradise is produced by Fogelman, Brown, John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, John Hoberg, Jess Rosenthal and Steve Beers.
