Cillian Murphy, Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Barry Keoghan, Stephen Graham, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee and Ian Peck star in the new Netflix film, which has now wrapped filming. The series takes the Shelby clan back to World War II.
Speaking to journalist Jane Mulkerrins in December, the screenwriter confirmed that production on the spin-off film wrapped before the holidays, though no release date has been set.
“It’s a bit too soon for that, but you know, you can sort of work out that it will be about a year.”
Knight was asked if there are any “plans for more Peaky Blinders beyond” the film. According to the Deccan Herald, he said, “Well, it’s interesting you should ask that question because the film is coming out, and that won’t be the end.”
Whether it will be a series or a film, Knight is silent about that. "It won't be the end, let's put it that way. I'm not saying anything."
