After a horrible murder is committed, Detective Tiago Vega (Daniel Zovatto, Here and Now) and his partner Lewis Michener (Nathan Lane, Modern Family) become caught up in a story that reflects the rich history of Los Angeles. Penny Dreadful: City of Angels investigates a mix of the supernatural and the reality in Los Angeles at that time.

Creator John Logan wrote Penny Dreadful and is now again a writer and executive producer of the spin-off. In addition to Zovatto and Lane, Piper Perabo, Natalie Dormer, Kerry Bishé, Amy Madigan, Brent Spiner and Rory Kinnear will be part of the cast.
