It will not be long before Prodigal Son returns with its second season. Catherine Zeta-Jones will join the cast.
The series revolves around Malcolm Bright, who works for the NYPD. Catherine Zeta-Jones (Queen America) will join Michael Sheen (Masters of Sex) and Thomas Payne (The Walking Dead) in the second season of the series. Zeta-Jones will portray Dr Vivian Capshaw, a doctor at Claremont Psychiatric.
On the 12th of January, the second season of the series will premiere at FOX. Back in May 2020, the series was renewed with this upcoming season after it became the best-watched series of all the networks of the 2019/2020 television season.

Prodigal Son follows Malcolm Bright (Payne). His father, Dr Martin Whitly (Sheen) is a notorious serial killer called The Surgeon, which has enabled Bright his ability to understand how killers think. Bright uses his genius twisted brain to help the NYPD solve crimes and stop killers.
