As a hurricane approaches Miami’s busiest Level 1 Trauma Center, third-year resident Dr. Danny Simms receives an unexpected promotion when respected chief resident, Dr. Xander Phillips (Colin Woodell), is suddenly suspended. As the storm intensifies, the ER becomes overwhelmed with patients, forcing the hospital into full lockdown.

Danny and Xander are forced to work together to manage the chaos—a challenge made even more complex when their secret, complicated romance gradually comes to light. As the rest of the team grapples with the revelation of their relationship, they face both personal and professional dilemmas. For this tight-knit group of doctors, saving lives often proves easier than getting their own turbulent lives on track.
