The plot for the first season states, "It's been thirty years since Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and disappeared. Now a new team has been assembled to reboot the project in hopes of solving the mysteries behind understand the machine and the man who made it."

Gadiot (pictured left) plays Tom Westfall, a U.S. Army officer, former Special Forces officer, who now holds a senior position in Army Intelligence. Gadiot previously played regular roles on USA Network's Queen of the South and ABC's Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. He had a recurring role on Showtime's Yellowjackets.
Taylor (pictured right) plays Hannah Carson, a complex young woman who may be more than she appears. Taylor is best known for her role as Clarke Griffin on The CW's dystopian sci-fi series The 100. The 33-year-old Australian actress also had other regular roles in Australian series The Sleepover Club and Neighbors, and guest roles on The CW's Nikita and FOX/Hulu comedy-drama The Orville.
Martin Gero is an executive producer of Quantum Leap (2022), along with Dean Georgaris, Don Bellisario, Deborah Pratt, Chris Grismer, Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt.

Season two of Quantum Leap (2022) kicks off Wednesday, October 4 on NBC, streaming on Peacock the following day.
