Apparently inspired by a number of books written by Max Allan Collins, this series tells the story of a man who, after returning home from the Vietnam War in the early 1970s, is recruited as a hitman. He himself, along with another soldier, who is also his best friend, has just been acquitted of a massacre that took place in Vietnam and was widely covered in the press so that he is not exactly welcomed by the local population when he returns home. Because of his fame and alleged guilt in the scandal during his military period, finding a decent job is therefore not an option, so that he is forced to work as a mechanic in a local garage. The same situation also befalls his best friend. the work is done in a factory of cheap office furniture. When he is approached by strangers to perform services for a hefty fee that are not allowed to see the light of day, he initially refuses, but partly because of his best friend he eventually becomes involved in a dark organization. All in all a pleasant surprise this pilot episode that perfectly captures the atmosphere of the seventies, and a series that, if it can continue to this level, could, along with "The Night Of", become a contender for the title of best series of 2016. .

The combination of Yaitanes and Tropper provided a good result, curious if this will be the new Banshee, they have placed it on the same day and time, so I think we have to compare it with it. If Logan delivers the same acting performance as in Dark Blue, it must be able to carry the series.
