Teaser trailer for Rabbit Hole starring Kiefer Sutherland

24 star Kiefer Sutherland plunges into the world of corporate espionage in the new teaser trailer for Paramount+'s upcoming series Rabbit Hole.

Just a few weeks after revealing some first images and a poster for their upcoming thriller series Rabbit Hole, Paramount+ has released the first teaser trailer for the series that sets the tone for what we'll see in the episodes of the first season.

The series revolves around corporate espionage, with Kiefer Sutherland as a master manipulator who turns the tables when he is framed for murder by powerful people. The series will premiere on Sunday, March 26.

The teaser trailer for Rabbit Hole makes it clear that Sutherland's character John Weir is being put in a position he's never been put in before, and that makes him extremely paranoid. John can't relax, is sleep deprived and is always looking over his shoulder. It will probably only get worse as the season progresses, which will drive him to extreme decisions. The question is, how do you stand up against people who can literally manipulate and control entire populations?

Plus, the trailer suggests there's a deeper layer to the story, especially when John declares he can't tell the difference between what's real and what's not. If the series' title is any indication, the conspiracy could go far beyond what it seems, and John's deteriorating mental health may end up adding some unconventional elements to the story.

Rabbit Hole was created by John Requa and Glen Ficarra. The duo has extensive experience in action comedies and dark humor, having written popular films such as Bad Santa, I Love You Phillip Morris and, most recently, Jungle Cruise. For television, they were involved as producers in NBC's This Is Us, WeCrashed from Apple TV + and FOX series neXt (2020).

The Rabbit Hole teaser trailer doesn't suggest any dark comedy elements, meaning they could be hiding it or just planning to venture into a different genre. What we do know for sure is that after nine seasons on the hit series 24, Sutherland is more than up for a story that could develop into an action-packed thriller, as the trailer suggests at times.

In addition to Sutherland, the Rabbit Hole cast includes Charles Dance (Game of Thrones) as Dr. Ben Wilson, Meta Golding (Empire) as Hailey Winton, Enid Graham (Mare of Easttown) as Josephine "Jo" Madi, Jason Butler Harner (Ozark) as Valence, Walt Klink (Dear Mama) as The Intern, and Rob Yang (Succession ), as Edward Homm.
