The Norwegian drama series Ragnarok premiered on Netflix last January. There is not yet an exact release date for the second season, and it is also not yet known how many episodes the next season will receive. The first season consisted of six episodes. In Norse mythology, Ragnarök / Ragnarok means "fate of the ruling powers," which also means the demise of the gods and the world.

Ragnarok revolves around the small fictional town Edda. Extreme weather conditions always occur and the inhabitants of the town are forced to respond to climate change. The world is changing and some claim that we are on our way to a new Ragnarok. Unless someone intervenes on time.
