Anthony Michael Hall (Bosch: Legacy) and Sonya Cassidy (The Man Who Fell to Earth) join Alan Ritchson and Maria Sten as series regulars in the upcoming third season of Reacher.
The third season is based on the novel Persuader by Lee Child and Reacher must go undercover to rescue an informant held by a ghostly enemy from his past.
Hall (pictured left) will play Zachary Beck. Beck is a formidable and successful businessman, widower and single father of his twenty-year-old son Richard. He is the owner of a carpet importing company that Reacher and his colleagues suspect is a front for a more nefarious operation.
Cassidy (pictured right) plays Sarah Duffy, a highly intelligent and tough DEA agent from Boston with a sharp and sarcastic sense of humor.
Hall had a recurring role as Special Agent Will Barron in Prime Video's Bosch: Legacy with Titus Welliver last year. He has had a variety of guest roles on NBC's The Blacklist, The CW's Riverdale, ABC's Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Z Nation, Warehouse 13 (both from SyFy) and NBC's Community to name a few titles.
Cassidy had regular roles in Showtime's The Man Who Fell to Earth with Chiwetel Ejifor and Netflix/BBC's The Last Kingdom, the AMC comedy-drama Lodge 49 and BBC's miniseries The Woman in White (2018).
Reacher season three is currently filming in Toronto. The renewal was announced in December 2023, two weeks before season two was available to stream on Prime Video.
Written for television by Nick Santora, Reacher is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television and Paramount Television Studios.
Child and Santora, who also serves as showrunner, are the executive producers. In addition to Santora and Child, Ritchson is executive producing season three, along with Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt and David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Matt Thunell for Skydance.
