Rectify is een Amerikaanse dramaserie van de zender Sundance Channel. De serie ging in première op 22 april 2013.
Rectify volgt het leven van Daniel Holden nadat hij negentien jaar gezeten heeft in Georgia's Death Row voordat DNA hem vrijsprak. Holden was pas achttien toen hij veroordeeld werd voor de verkrachting en moord van een zestien jarig meisje. Hij keert terug naar zijn familie en thuishaven waar de moord is gebeurd en waar velen nog steeds geloven dat hij schuldig is. Daniel heeft zijn hele volwassen leven gewacht op de dood, nu moet hij leren weer te leven terwijl anderen kiezen of ze wel of niet willen dat hij die kans krijgt.

Finally watched the last four episodes in a row. The film work is amazing. Those hands in the sunlight, it made me tear up. The series is wonderfully slow, but goes so deeply into the feeling. Fortunately, there is a third season!

From this year's weekly overview 2: Rectify - The upcoming fourth season will also be the last. Sundance TV has canceled Rectify. When the fourth and final season will start has not yet been announced, but it will be sometime in the fall of 2016.

I have yet to get started, but your response does not make me hopeful. I was a bit worried it would take too long (too many seasons). I think the first three seasons are fine. Of course go and have a look .. I will come back to it;)

Light and easy to digest is different, but very rewarding. After twenty years of wrongfully imprisoned, Man must find his way back in a society that still sees him as guilty. Cozy! Especially the main character played by Aden Young comes in hard at times.
