Harlan Coben series Run Away reveals premiere date and first-look photos

Run Away, the new Netflix series based on a book by bestselling author Harlan Coben, will soon be available worldwide. The series, starring James Nesbitt, Ruth Jones, Minnie Driver, and Alfred Enoch, follows the success of Harlan Coben's earlier thriller series Missing You from 2025. Netflix has now released the first images, accompanied by the slogan: "How far would you go to bring her back?"

The cast of the eight-episode series also includes Lucian Msamati, Jonathan Pointing, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Annette Badland, Maeve Courtier-Lilley, Ellie de Lange, Adrian Greensmith, Ellie Henry, Ingrid Oliver, Finty Williams, Joe McGann, and Amy Gledhill.

According to the official description, the story of Run Away revolves around Simon (James Nesbitt), who once led the perfect life — a loving wife, children, a good job, and a beautiful home. But everything falls apart when his eldest daughter Paige (Ellie de Lange) runs away from home.

When Simon finally finds her, weakened and addicted in a city park, he sees a chance to bring her back. But Paige is not alone, and a dispute escalates into a violent confrontation with devastating consequences. Once again, Simon loses his daughter, and his search for her leads him into a dark underworld full of dangerous secrets that could forever break his family.

As is customary with Coben’s Netflix projects, this adaptation has also been relocated from the US to the United Kingdom. Filming took place in Manchester and the North West region of England.

The first images released by Netflix show the main characters in various intense and emotional scenes — a preview of what promises to be a gripping and dark thriller.
