In the announcement video, Apple revealed not just the date, but that it's time to watch the first season if you haven't done so already. Guillermo del Toro also said the following; "It is surreal...insidiously creepy.". Stephen King also had something to say about the series; "Extremely creepy, totally involving. I'm Hooked.". Servant revolves around a couple that lives in Philadelphia and has to deal with an unspeakable tragedy that has an impact on their wedding and opens the door for a mysterious force. The cast consists of Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under), Toby Kebbell (Black Mirror), Nell Tiger Free (Game of Thrones) and Rupert Grint (Snatch). They will all return for the second season.
After the exciting season finale, the second season of the thriller turns supernatural. As Leanne returns to the brownstone and her true nature is revealed, a darker future for everyone is in the works. Starting from the 15th of January 2021, the second season will air over the course of ten weeks on Apple TV+.
