Last year, Showtime announced that their longest-running series was going to end. The network announced the eleventh and also final season of Shameless (US). In 2011, the first episode of the series aired. It is now known that the final season will start its run on the 6th of December. It is not yet known how many episodes the final season will consist of.

Shameless (US) revolves around Frank Gallagher, the proud father of six smart and independent children who would probably be better off without him. The children have all found their own way to grow up. The Gallaghers don't show a slimmer of respect, they are quite charming, extraordinarily resilient and they don't know shame. The series was based on the series with the same name from the United Kingdom, Shameless.
