For all fans of 'Sherlock' Holmes and Benedict Cumberbatch, there is good news. Cumberbatch has explained to Vogue: "If we can keep the quality up, I can't imagine I will ever get tired of being 'Sherlock'. I would love to play him as an old man." Thus saying that he would like to do many seasons of 'Sherlock'.
At the end of 2015, 'Sherlock' will return with a special episode that will resolve the cliffhanger regarding Moriarty. Rumour has it that this will be on 25 December 2015, but that has not been confirmed. And the fourth season will be broadcast in early 2016. The production of the special will begin in January 2015 and production for the fourth season will begin later that same year. The fourth season will also have three episodes.
