Hulu renews Shrill with a third season

Hulu has renewed the American comedy series Shrill, which was created by Aidy Bryant, Alexandra Rushfield and Lindy West.

Aidy Bryant, Alexandra Rushfield and Lindy West conceived the comedy series, which is based on the book Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman from Lindy West. The series premiered in 2019. Hulu has decided to renew Shrill with a third season. The new season will have eight episodes.

Aidy Bryant (Saturday Night Live) didn't just create the series but also portrays Annie, the main character. Annie tries to become a journalist, but she has to deal with bad boyfriends, sick parents, a perfectionist boss and the world around her, which is judging her based on her weight. She realises that she's just as good as anyone else and starts to act like it.
