Netflix Reveals Premiere Date and First Look at Limited Series Sirens (2024)

Netflix has set a premiere date for Sirens (2024), the limited dark comedy series starring Julianne Moore.
Sirens (2024) is an adaptation of Metzler’s play Elemeno Pea and centers on Devon, who suspects her sister Simone of having a very creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell. Michaela’s cult-like life of luxury is becoming a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it’s time for an intervention. When Devon tracks down her sister to give her unvarnished opinion on the matter, she has no idea what a formidable adversary Michaela will be.

The five-part limited series starring Julianne Moore, Meghann Fahy and Milly Alcock is set to premiere Thursday, May 22, and is created by Emmy-nominated writer and showrunner Molly Smith Metzler (Maid). Sirens (2024) is produced by LuckyChap.

Told over the course of an explosive weekend at the lavish beachside estate of The Kells, the series is billed as a sharp, sexy and darkly funny exploration of women, power and class. Moore plays Michaela, while Fahy portrays Devon and Alcock plays her younger sister Simone.

The limited series also stars Kevin Bacon as Peter Kell, Glenn Howerton as Ethan Corbin III, Bill Camp as Bruce DeWitt, and Felix Solis as Jose.

Sirens (2024) is the first series from Metzler’s creative partnership with Netflix, which was announced in 2022, and follows the limited series Maid starring Margaret Qualley, her first project with the streamer.
