Comedy series Sneakerheads to premiere on Netflix near the end of September

Netflix has given the green light for Sneakerheads, a new comedy series. Next to that, they've immediately revealed a release date.

The series follows a group of sneaker lovers, who are looking for the ultimate pair of sneakers. Jay Longino created the series and Dave Meyers has directed the episodes. Starting from the 25th of September, the series - which features Allen Maldonado (The Last O.G.) and Andrew Bachelor (Black Jesus) in the lead - will be available on Netflix.

The series revolves around Devin, a stay-at-home father and former sneaker enthusiast. He has fallen for a trick from an old friend, which was supposed to ensure a lot of wealth. Devin is desperate to get his money back before his wife finds out what he lost. He, therefore, calls in the help of a group of fellow sneaker lovers to acquire the unobtainable 'Zeroes'.
