South Park renewed with three seasons

For at least four more years, South Park fans will be able to enjoy the animated series. It has been renewed up until its 30th season.

It is expected that the 24th season of South Park will release in 2021. In 2019, the series was renewed up until its 26th season. At the time, Comedy Central renewed it with three more seasons. Now, the network has done that once more. South Park will have a 27th, 28th and 30th season in the coming years. MTV Entertainment Studios has signed a deal with creators Trey Parker (That's My Bush!) and Matt Stone (That's My Bush!), which consists of content creation up until at least 2027.

Next to the renewal, Paramount+ has ordered fourteen South Park movies. These will be made available only on the streaming service. The first two will release in 2021. Back in 1997, South Park premiered on Comedy Central. It revolves around the surrealistic adventures of four best friends. Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman all come from South Park, a fictional town in the state of Colorado.
