TNT Cancels Southland and Monday Mornings

Yesterday TNT announced that the series Monday Mornings and Southland will not be renewed. Freshman series Monday Mornings will not get a second season. The series did not attract enough viewers. Jennifer Finnigan, who portrays doctor Tina Ridgeway, announced the news on Twitter. TNT maakte gisteren bekend dat de series Monday Mornings en Southland niet worden verlengd. Jennifer Finnigan, die dokter Tina Ridgeway speelt, maakte het nieuws via Twitter bekend.

For Southland the fifth season will be its last. The first season started airing on NBC, but moved to TNT with its fourth season. Now, the series really is cancelled. The ratings weren't great and even the cast presumed the series would not be renewed. Benjamin McKenzie (Ben Sherman) already accepted a leading part in the CBS pilot The Advocates and Shawn Hatosy will star in new series Reckless.
