Netflix renews Space Force

The comedy that may have been inspired by the Space Force initiative from President Trump has been renewed for a second season. Production on the second season of the American comedy Space Force will start in Vancouver somewhere in 2021. The series, which was created by Steve Carell and Greg Daniels, revolves around a new military branch - Space Force -, which is supposed to result in the United States gaining ground in space.



There are some parallels between the series and reality. For example, the real United Space Force that was created near the end of 2019, inspired Space Force int the series. In the background commentary, it appears as if there is a president that seems to be quite similar to President Donald Trump.

Next to Carell, the cast further consists of John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Diana Silvers, Lisa Kudrow, Tawny Newsome and Jimmy O. Yang
