Spinning Out is an American drama series from Netflix that was released on the 1st of January. The series was conceived by Samantha Stratton (
Mr. Mercedes). The series follows Kat Baker (Kaya Scodelario), a figure skater who is about to say goodbye to her career, until she gets a second chance and can form a duo with colleague Justin (Evan Roderick). In order to realize her Olympic dream, she must first deal with her personal demons.
Now that
Spinning Out has released a month ago, Netflix has decided that there will not be a second season. The ratings and the appreciation for the series have apparently proved insufficient to justify a continuation. Nevertheless, the series has 6000 votes on IMDb and received a 7.8 average grade.
