Third season Star Trek: Discovery will release on Netflix shortly after its premiere

The third season of Star Trek: Discovery will start its run soon. After that, the episodes will also release on Netflix in various countries.

Two seasons of Star Trek: Discovery have been released so far, both of which are available on Netflix outside of the US. The third season of Star Trek: Discovery will premiere on CBS All Access on the 15th of October. Starting from the 16th of October, Netflix will also air an episode weekly, a day after it was released in the US.

Star Trek: Discovery is part of the Star Trek franchise and takes place ten years before the original series. The series follows the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery with identification number NCC-1031. Contrary to the previous series, the lead character is no longer a captain but a female lieutenant commander. Star Trek: Discovery isn't the only new series that is part of the franchise. We already have Star Trek: Picard, and two more new series were announced at the [email protected] earlier this year.
