Ethan Peck, Anson Mount and Rebecca Romijn will also return to portray the same characters they portrayed in the second season of Star Trek: Discovery. They will respectively portray Spock, Christopher Pike and Number One.
The new Paramount+ series is based on the years that Captain Christopher Pike was in charge of the USS Enterprise, which is nearly up until the era of Captain Kirk in Star Trek.
