The episode, directed by Jordan Canning (Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock), features a full crew of Jim Henson's Creature Shop puppets. With dramatic flair, Puppet Pike says, "Hit it," and the season four title card appears on screen. But when no one seems to react, Pike breaks the silence: "You heard me say hit it, right? Spock? Anyone? Did you go to season four without me?"
In addition to the doll teaser, attendees also enjoyed an exclusive screening of the season three episode "A Space Adventure Hour," directed by franchise veteran Jonathan Frakes. In this episode, La'An Noonien-Singh (Christina Chong) tests a new holodeck prototype and finds herself in a murder mystery that only she can solve—with the fate of the Enterprise hanging in the balance.
The episode launches July 31st on Paramount+.

The panel was moderated by Robert Picardo (known as the EMH from Star Trek: Voyager) and included showrunners Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers, producer Alex Kurtzman, and cast members Christina Chong, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, and Paul Wesley.
In June, it was announced that Star Trek: Strange New Worlds had been renewed for a fifth and final season. This brings the beloved prequel story of Captain Pike and his crew to a close.
With episodes ranging from musicals to noir murder mystery novels, and now even a Henson puppet adventure, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds stays true to its title by continuing to creatively push boundaries within the Star Trek universe.
