Official trailer and poster released for Star Trek: Section 31

The Star Trek film starring Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh will be available to stream on Friday, January 24. Paramount+ unveiled the official trailer for Star Trek: Section 31 during the Paramount+ presentation at CCXP in São Paolo, Brazil. The film premieres on Friday, January 24, exclusively on Paramount+ in the US and international markets where the service is available. The official poster for the highly anticipated film was also unveiled.



In the film, Yeoh reprises her fan-favorite role as Emperor Philippa Georgiou - a character she played in Star Trek: Discovery - who joins a secret division of Starfleet. She must protect the United Federation of Planets, but must also face the sins of her past.

Star Trek: Section 31 also stars Omari Hardwick, Emmy winner Sam Richardson, Robert Kazinsky, Kacey Rohl, Sven Ruygrok, James Hiroyuki Liao, Humberly Gonzalez and Joe Pingue. Miku Martineau portrays a young Philippa Georgiou.

Star Trek: Section 31 is directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi, with a screenplay by Craig Sweeny and a story by Bo Yeon Kim and Erika Lippoldt, and is produced by Alex Kurtzman, Craig Sweeny, Aaron Baiers, Olatunde Osunsanmi, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth and Michelle Yeoh and is produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment.
