The eighth season is also known as the seventh season, but that should not spoil the fun. Whichever season it may be, the final season will start on Sky Day and Cinemax on Valentine's Day. The first season was a production of Sky 1 and the second season was a co-production between Sky 1 and Cinemax. Because Cinemax co-produced the second season, they called it the first season for convenience.

The Strike Back series is based on the books of the same name by Chris Ryan and tells the story of the members of Section 20, which is part of MI6. In the final season, Ivana Milicevic (Banshee, photo) and Alec Secareanu (Baptiste) will join the cast.
