HBO Max has announced that the comedy series Stuart Fails to Save the Universe will premiere in July. At the same time, it was revealed that the original theme music will be composed by Danny Elfman, an award-winning composer with an Emmy, Grammy, and an Oscar nomination to his name.

The series revolves around Stuart Bloom, played by Kevin Sussman, the owner of the comic book store from the original series. When he accidentally damages a device belonging to Sheldon and Leonard, he causes a sort of multiverse disaster. He is then tasked with restoring reality, which quickly turns into a chaotic and often comedic adventure.
He is assisted by various familiar faces: his girlfriend Denise (Lauren Lapkus), geologist Bert (Brian Posehn), and the eccentric physicist Barry Kripke (John Ross Bowie). Along the way, they encounter alternative versions of well-known characters from the Big Bang Theory universe, but as the title suggests, everything goes anything but smoothly.

Both Stuart and Bert are two pathetic characters, and Kripke is annoying because of his lisp.
The friend Denise seems like the nicest character to me, but following the entire series just for that is a bit too much.
For the time being, I certainly won't be starting it, unless it turns out to be a huge success, but first we have to wait and see if the series will be well received.
