CBS announces 2015-2016 start- and premiere dates

CBS is fast with their announcement of the new broadcast schedule for the 2015-2016 season. As usual the season starts with American Football on Thursday 17 September, but the series season kicks off this year on Monday 21 September.

“With many of the biggest hits on prime-time television as well as Thursday night Football, we have the ability to strategically roll out our new season over several weeks this fall,” said Nina Tassler, Chairman, CBS Entertainment. “We’ve created a very focused scheduling and promotional environment to provide the best possible launch platform for new and returning series across the schedule.”
