Taboo (2017) is een Engels-Amerikaanse historische dramaserie van de zender BBC One en FX. De serie ging in première op 7 januari 2017.
Taboo (2017) volgt James Keziah Delaney in 1813 die terugkeert vanuit Afrika met veertien onrechtvaardig verkregen diamanten en zoekt revanche na zijn vader's dood. Nadat hij geweigerd heeft om zijn familiezaak te verkopen aan het East India Company, begint hij zijn eigen handel en scheepvaart empire op te richten en daarmee een gevaarlijk spelletje speelt tussen twee oorlogvoerende naties, Groot-Brittannië en Amerika.
