The story in Ted Lasso revolves around a university football coach from Kansas, Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis, The Last Man on Earth). He is hired by a professional football team in England. Ted Lasso is set to premiere on Apple Tv+ on the 14th of August.
The series is based on a couple of characters from NBC Sports and was created by Sudeikis and Bill Lawrence (Cougar Town). Both will also serve as executive producers and Sudeikis will portray the lead character.
