No third season for Tell Me a Story (2018)

No third season for Tell Me a Story (2018)

CBS has cancelled Tell Me a Story (2018) after two seasons. The series was released exclusively through CBS All Access.
Tell Me a Story (2018) turned famous and beloved fairytales into a psychological thriller. The first season takes place in modern New York and blends 'three little pigs', 'red riding hood' and 'Hansel and Gretel' into an epic story of love, loss, greed, revenge and murder. With an all-new cast for the second season of Tell Me a Story (2018), the story of the legendary three princesses is the central theme; 'Belle and the Beast', 'sleeping beauty' and 'Cinderella'. You've never seen a fairytale in such a way before.

The series was created by Kevin Williamson (The Vampire Diaries) and premiere on CBS All Access in 2018. The series is an anthology series. It has a new cast and a new story each season. It hasn't been revealed why Tell Me a Story (2018) has been cancelled. The network did reveal that The CW purchased the first two seasons of the series to make sure a lot more people will have access to it.

Too bad there will be no third season. Fortunately, it is an anthology, so there is no open ending.

Can anyone explain to me if both Danielle Campbell and Paul Wesley are playing in the 2nd season? From the series page I can see that both have a role in the 2nd season but above I read that the 2nd season is working with a new cast ..
