The drama series’ second season will see the fallout from last season spread to Lucy and Stephen’s group of friends.

Unfortunately, Stephen is still around, both in the group and individually, and the addictive dynamic between him and Lucy takes on a new form this season. But Thomas Doherty's recurring guest character Leo is also interested in Lucy.
Lucifer actor Tom Ellis has joined season two in the role of Baird College professor Oliver, who is married to Lucy's teacher Marianne (Gabriella Pession). His involvement with a student could cause problems.
Other newcomers include Jacob Rodriguez as Chris, brother to Lydia (Natalee Linez) and potential love interest for Pippa (Sonia Mena). Katherine Hughes plays Molly, Diana's friend who is also looking for romance this season.
Other returning cast members include Cat Missal, Spencer House and Branden Cook.
Based on the book by Carola Lovering, Tell Me Lies centers on eight years of a toxic relationship that affects everyone in its orbit, with college friends getting sucked into it at various points.
Meaghan Oppenheimer serves as showrunner and executive producer, with Belletrist executive producers Emma Roberts, production company co-founder Karah Preiss and Matt Matruski. Stephanie Noonan and Laura Lewis produce for Rebelle Media. Lovering is also a consulting producer on the Hulu Original series produced by 20th Television.
Tell Me Lies season two premieres Wednesday, September 4 with two episodes, followed by one episode per week.
