Second season for comedy series That '90s Show

Netflix wants to take us back to Point Place, Wisconsin. That '90s Show has been renewed by the streaming service for a second season.

The second season order for That '90s Show is even for sixteen episodes, compared to the ten episodes of the first season.

That '90s Show is a period comedy series that is a sequel to That 70's Show, starring Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp, Callie Haverda, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Donovan, Reyn Doi, and Sam Morelos.

The guest stars include Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Prepon, Wilmer Valderrama, Tommy Chung, and Don Stark, who have all been a part of That 70's Show.

That ’90s Show

The series picks up years after the original, in 1995 in Wisconsin. Leia Forman (Haverda), the teenage daughter of Eric (Grace) and Donna (Prepon), is desperate for some adventure in her life (or at least a best friend who isn't her father). When Leia arrives in Point Place to visit her grandparents, Red (Smith) and Kitty (Rupp), Leia finds what she's looking for when she meets the dynamic and rebellious Gwen Runck (Aufderheide).

With the help of Gwen's friends, including her sweet brother Nate (Donovan), his smart and purposeful girlfriend Nikki (Morelos), the sarcastic and insightful Ozzie (Doi), and the charming Jay (Coronel), Leia realizes that the adventure is right there. can happen, just like it did with her parents all those years ago.

The first season just came out on January 19 and immediately hit Netflix's Top 10 UK television chart in 35 countries, with over 41 million hours watched.

Co-creators Bonnie & Terry Turner, who also created That ’70s Show also sounded excited. “We here at Point Place realize you have many options for entertainment and we’re glad you chose us. We look forward to entertaining you for years to come. Buh-bye!” said the two in a statement.

“We’re thrilled that the incredibly funny stories from Point Place, Wisconsin continue to resonate around the world, regardless of the decade,” said Tracey Pakosta, Netflix’s Vice President of Comedy Series.
