Starring Tiffany Haddish, Zoë Chao and Sam Richardson, the series follows Detective Danner (Haddish) as she investigates a murder. The first season is set at a party between some people after a high school reunion, a so-called after party. Each episode follows a different character about what happened the night of a former classmate's murder from his or her point of view.
The second season cast also includes Elizabeth Perkins (Truth Be Told (2019)), Zach Woods (Avenue 5), Paul Walter Hauser (Black Bird), Poppy Liu (Hacks), Anna Konkle (Rosewood), Jack Whitehall ( Good Omens), Vivian Wu (Away), John Cho (Cowboy Bebop (2021)) and Ken Jeong (The Pentaverate).
In season two, a wedding is ruined when the groom is murdered and every guest is a suspect. Detective Danner (Haddish) returns to help Aniq (Richardson) and Zoë (Chao) find the culprit by questioning family members, loved ones and business associates and hearing each suspect's stories about the weekend, each with their own unique perspective and visual style.
