Near the end of May, it was revealed that the second season of The Alienist - which is subtitled as The Alienist: Angel of Darkness - would start airing on TNT on the 26th of July. The network has revealed that the series will start airing sooner than anticipated. Starting from the 19th of July, each week two episodes will release on TNT.
In The Alienist: Angel of Darkness, the story becomes a bit different than in the first season. Sara (Dakota Fanning, Taken) has opened up her own detective agency. Alongside Kreizler (Daniel Brühl, Marvel's The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) and Moore (Luke Evans, The Great Train Robbery) try find Ana Linares, the kidnapped baby of a Spanish consular.
