Netflix reveals premiere date and first-look photos for The Beast in Me

Netflix will soon bring the new series The Beast in Me, starring Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys, to the small screen. The psychological thriller The Beast in Me revolves around Aggie (Claire Danes), a writer who can no longer write after the death of her young son.



Auggie's life changes when Nile Jarvis (Matthew Rhys), a notorious real estate magnate and former prime suspect in his wife's disappearance, buys the house next door. Fascinated and alarmed, Auggie becomes entangled in a dangerous game of cat and mouse, obsessively searching for the truth while grappling with her own demons.

Besides Danes and Rhys, Brittany Snow and Natalie Morales also play key roles.

Guest stars include Jonathan Banks, David Lyons, Tim Guinee, Hettienne Park, Deidre O'Connell, Aleyse Shannon, Will Brill, Kate Burton, Bill Irwin, Amir Arison, and Julie Ann Emery.

The series was created by Gabe Rotter (The X-Files) and is led by Howard Gordon ( 24, Accused (US)), who reteams with Danes following their success with Homeland.
