
The trailer sees Biel's Chloe find Adam murdered in their home, after which she, Ethan and Nicky find themselves in the spotlight of media attention, with Ethan being suspected of murdering his father. While the sisters must remain united in the wake of the murder as they fight to uncover the truth behind Adam's killing, they must also confront stubborn secrets and a complicated family history. The series explores "the terrible things that tear sisters apart and ultimately bring them back together."

“My husband has been murdered. And my sister is here. And though I am feeling anxiety about this, I release it,” Biel’s Chloe is shown reciting to herself in the bathroom as she attempts to calm down amid the turmoil.
“What a crazy turn, the world knowing you stole your sister’s life,” Kim Dickens’ Nancy Guidry says in the trailer.
The eight-episode series is based on the novel by bestselling author Alafair Burke. Bobby Naderi, Gabriel Sloyer, Gloria Reuben, Matthew Modine and Lorraine Toussaint also star in the series, which is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Tomorrow Studios (part of ITV Studios).
The Better Sister premieres on Prime Video on Thursday, May 29.
