The Bold Type to release on Netflix in March

Netflix users beware. If you're thinking of taking an Amazon Prime subscription to watch this series, you could wait for a bit. Starting from March, this dramedy will be available on the streaming service in various countries.

In the Bold Type, the lives of three millennials are shown. They all work for a fictional magazine in New York, which is called Scarlet. Naturally, a hefty amount of drama happens. For example, Sutton Brady (Meghann Fahy) has an affair with one of the members of the board of the magazine. Kat Edison (Aisha Dee, Chasing Life) stumbles upon a lesbian photographer. For Jane Sloan (Katie Stevens), it doesn't become all that romantic. She is tasked with writing an article about her ex-boyfriend. Other cast members are Dan Jeannotte (Good Witch) and Melora Hardin (The Office).

The series is partially based on the career of Joanna Coles, who had multiple functions at Cosmopolitan including commercial director and lead editor.

Starting from the 1st of March, the series will be made available on Netflix. It has not been revealed how many seasons will be included. The series has had four seasons so far.
