Three actors will join the cast of The Capture. This includes Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You).
The series focuses on Inspector Rachel Carey who is tasked with solving complicated cases. In the second season, there is a new conspiracy with a new target. Holliday Grainger (Strike) will return to portray Rachel in the second season. The cast will be further increased by Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones) and Andy Nyman (Hanna). Essiedu will portray Isaac Turner, a young MP with big ambitions.
Supposedly, production will start soon. The second season will consist of six episodes, just like the first season. Ben Chanan (The Missing) has written the episodes. James Kent (MotherFatherSon) and Philippa Langdale (A Discovery of Witches) will direct the second season. The Capture premiered back in 2019. Last year, the second season was announced.
