BBC has renewed The Capture with a second season. In the final episode of the first season, Dutch actress Famke Janssen (The Blacklist: Redemption) portrays a character. Ben Chanan (The Missing) wrote the story for the first season, and will also write the story for the second.
The series revolves around a British soldier who is accused of a crime. Inspector Rachel Carey (Holliday Grainger, Strike) is tasked with finding out the truth, and if there's more to it than the evidence seems to make one think. Rachel will soon find out that the truth is just a matter of perspective.
